You've outgrown the version of yourself that got you here.

On Being Leadership Advisory is a one-to-one practice for people carrying real responsibility through real transitions — scaling a company, exiting one, or stepping into leadership for the first time. The work happens at the identity layer, not the tactics layer. I'm Marisa Lucchesi. This is what I do.

The problem isn't your competence.

You know how to operate. That's how you got the company, the team, the exit, the title. But every serious transition asks a quieter question underneath the operational one: not what should I do, but who do I need to be now — and the person answering it is usually the last version of you, the one built for the job you just left.

Most leaders cross that gap alone, improvising, at cost. You don't have to.

The transitions I work inside.

Scaling.

The company is growing faster than the founder. What worked at 15 people is failing at 80, and every suggested fix is structural — but the constraint is you.

Exiting.

The sale closed, or it's about to. Everyone congratulates you; nobody asks who you are on the other side of the wire transfer. That question is the work.

Stepping up.

The promotion made you responsible for people who were your peers last quarter. The skills that earned the seat aren't the skills the seat requires — and the first year of running people is an identity change with a start date.

Advisory, not coaching.

This is a thinking partnership between peers. I've run eight-figure enterprise relationships and led a 14-person international team — I know what the seat feels like from the inside. I bring that operating history together with a decade of formal training in how identity actually shifts under pressure, and I put both in service of one person: you.

No frameworks-of-the-month. No worksheets... unless you want them. A confidential room, a sharp thinking partner, and the specific transition you're standing in.

If this is the season you're in, we should talk.
